# Capptivo

> Capptivo is a free, open-source desktop app for polished screen recordings — a local-first alternative to Screen Studio and Cursorful, with smart follow-cursor zoom, click-based auto zooms, editor presets, and on-device captions.

Capptivo is a native desktop product for macOS, Windows, and Linux (Tauri, Rust, React). Recordings and projects stay on the user’s machine; no account is required to record or edit. The project is licensed under the MIT License.
